Harbin,China 2005
May peace take flight within you. Randy Amys, Steve Mercia, Tim Upham and Alex Amys conceived this sculpture in June of 2004. We felt that it was time to reiterate the need for peace throughout the world. It is easier to extend one's hand than it is to clench a fist. by releasing the dove we were showing everyone that it was possible to extend our confidence in mankind and start the snowball rolling. What better place to spread this message than China? We were fortunate in garnering an invitation to participate in the Harbin Snow and Ice Festival. Harbin, known for its cold temperatures, prides itself as a city transformed into a winter wonderland.

Nayaro,Japan 2007
This was my first competition in Japan. The competition is one of the best in the world with great snow, temperatures, people and food. Artists for this event were Steve Mercia, Randy Ames and Tim Upham. Can you see where it broke and we fixed it?
